INTO to begin pay campaign
More than 900 delegates are expected to attend an INTO conference in Limerick today, where the national school teachers are expected to back a campaign of action that could lead to a strike.
The union wants to see the awards under the benchmarking process paid out before their partnership deal expires.
Other topics to be discussed include a reduction of the years in service necessary before a teacher may retire and a denouncement of attacks on teachers.
