Judith Kilshaw has said she still thinks of the twins she adopted over the internet as hers.

She also repeated her denials that her and husband Alan bought babies over the internet.

Mrs Kilshaw and her husband Alan were speaking a morning television programme.

She said: "I won't forget them. I still see them as my babies.

"After all this time, after all I've been through, they are still my babies."

She said the whole episode "feels absolutely unbelievable".

"I don't mean that in a good sense, I mean that in a very bad sense," she added.

"We paid for a facilitator. We didn't buy a baby."

She added: "I don't want to adopt in England. I don't want social services' involvement."

Mr Kilshaw said: "I think many of the things that happened to us were down to bad luck."
