Teenager dies after being knocked down by car in Bray

A teenage boy has died after being knocked down by a car in Co Wicklow last night.

A teenage boy has died after being knocked down by a car in Co Wicklow last night.

The accident happened while the boy was trying to cross the N11 south of the Old Connaught Junction on the outskirts of Bray.

Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to come forward with whatever information they may have.

The teenager's name is being withheld until all next of kin are informed.
