The Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed says that last month’s increase in the live register figures represent the worst results in the past five years.

The Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed says that last month’s increase in the live register figures represent the worst results in the past five years.

The latest figures show that over 7,000 extra people were on the live register last month compared to the previous month.

However, when seasonally adjusted the figure is down by almost 1,000.

The INOU say that the current figures demonstrate a disturbing trend.
