Hit and run in North injures young boy

Police in the North have appealed for witnesses to a hit and run incident, which resulted in a 10-year-old boy being injured.

Police in the North have appealed for witnesses to a hit and run incident, which resulted in a 10-year-old boy being injured.

It's understood that he was hit by a small black car, which failed to stop at Ormeau Road in the city, just before 2pm this afternoon.

It's believed that two men were travelling in the car.

The boy was taken to hospital where he is being treated for a broken leg and back injuries.
