Nokia 6610 model shipments delayed to October

Nokia Corp said it will delay to October shipments of its 6610 model, originally scheduled for third quarter, Tapio Hedman, vice-president of Nokia's Mobile Phones Communications.

Nokia Corp said it will delay to October shipments of its 6610 model, originally scheduled for third quarter, Tapio Hedman, vice-president of Nokia's Mobile Phones Communications.

"We expected the model to be ready for shipping in third quarter, but there are still some details we would like finalise before shipping will start," Hedman said.

On June 17, Nokia launched its Nokia 6610 phone with tri-band compatibility, a high-quality colour display, Java (TM) technology and multimedia services.
