Lansdowne residents to discuss stadium project

Local residents are due to meet tonight to discuss the planned redevelopment of the Lansdowne Road stadium.

Local residents are due to meet tonight to discuss the planned redevelopment of the Lansdowne Road stadium.

The Government agreed yesterday to provide funding for the €300m project.

Sinn Féin councillor Daithi Doolan, who lives in the area, said the concerns of the local community must be addressed before construction of the stadium goes ahead.
