GAA; Dublin pull off shock win over Antrim

Dublin turned in a superb second half display to pull off a shock win over Antrim at Casement Park.

Antrim 2-15, Dublin 3-14 (Div 1A)

Dublin turned in a superb second half display to pull off a shock win over Antrim at Casement Park.

The home side led by 0-9 to 0-5 at the break but a goal 23 secs after the restart by Damian Russell set Dublin up for a great final period.

Antrim hit back with two points and a goal by Gregory O'Kane but over the final 30 mins, the visitors were totally on top.

The second goal came in the 53rd minute from David Donnelly and the third was a result of a defensive blunder.

In the 59th min, substitute Chris Hamill had his attempted clearance in front of goal blocked into his own net by David Henry to leave Dublin only a point adrift at 1-14 to 3-10.

A penalty goal from O'Kane seemed to get Antrim back on track but in a storming finish, Dublin sent over four points to just one for Antrim to gain their first victory in the league.
