Goalkeeper Alan Quirke, centre back Ger Spillane and centre forward David Niblock will all make their championship debuts for the Cork footballers on Sunday.

The trio have been included by Cork manager Billy Morgan for the weekend's Munster SFC semi-final clash with Limerick (Gaelic Grounds, throw-in 4.00pm).

The Rebels' starting line-up shows four changes to the side that beat Monaghan 1-09 to 0-08 last time out in the National League.

Kieran O'Connor and Anthony Lynch come in for Michael Shields and Michael Prout in the full-back line, Nicholas Murphy starts at midfield having been named at left half-forward against Monaghan. Kevin McMahon takes Murphy's wing berth with Dermot Hurley losing out.

James Masters also returns from injury at right corner forward, in place of Daniel Goulding. John Hayes is an absentee - he strained his hamstring at last week's training camp in La Manga - so Kevin O'Sullivan retains the left corner forward position.

CORK (SFC v Limerick) - A Quirke; K O’Connor, G Canty, A Lynch; N O’Leary, G Spillane, S Levis; N Murphy, D Kavanagh; C McCarthy, D Niblock, K McMahon; J Masters, F Goold, K O’Sullivan.
