Police Ombudsman probes fatal crash involving PSNI vehicle

The Police Ombudsman in the North is investigating the death of a man in a collision between a car and a police vehicle on the outskirts of north Belfast this morning.

The Police Ombudsman in the North is investigating the death of a man in a collision between a car and a police vehicle on the outskirts of north Belfast this morning.

Several other people, including a number of PSNI officers, were also injured in the crash, which happened just before 10am on the Hightown Road near Glengormley.

The police vehicle is believed to have been following the car in which the dead man was travelling.
