Man charged after hit-and-run

A man has been charged by the Gardai in relation to yesterday's hit-and-run incident in Longford.

A man has been charged by the Gardai in relation to yesterday's hit-and-run incident in Longford.

The man has been charged with road traffic offences under section 106 of the Road Traffic Act.

A local man, 64-year-old Eamonn Hoey from Moydow, was killed in the incident.
