At a meeting of the GAA’s Central Hearings Committee was held last night Cork football manager Billy Morgan was suspended for eight weeks from the date of last night’s meeting.

At a meeting of the GAA’s Central Hearings Committee was held last night Cork football manager Billy Morgan was suspended for eight weeks from the date of last night’s meeting.

The Cork football manager, who had requested a hearing having been reported by the referee for verbal abuse arising out of the Cork v Donegal Allianz League game on February 3.

James McGovern of Down had also requested a hearing having been red-carded in his county’s AllianzNFL game against Westmeath on February 22. Arising from the referee’s report, he was suspended for four weeks from the date of the game.
