Fine Gael is renewing its call for a special information technology forum to be established in the wake of fresh job losses.

Fine Gael is renewing its call for a special information technology forum to be established in the wake of fresh job losses.

Following the announcement of 52 redundancies in Ennis today the party spokesman on enterprise, Charlie Flanagan TD said it was clear the Government had no plan to stem the tide of lay offs.

He argues the proposed forum could focus on job generation and concentrate on ways to improve productivity and innovation capacity.
