Boy killed by falling snow in Russia

People in Russia are being warned to beware of lumps of snow and icicles falling from roofs after a nine-year-old boy was killed.

People in Russia are being warned to beware of lumps of snow and icicles falling from roofs after a nine-year-old boy was killed.

The youngster was killed by a falling snow clod in the centre of the Siberian city of Tomsk.

A man and a woman were hurt in the same incident but escaped with concussion.

Criminal proceedings have been launched over the boy's death.

A commission has been set up at Tomsk's city hall to check the condition of roofs in the city.
