Belfast death: Man released without charge

A man being questioned after the sudden death of another man in Belfast was released without charge today.

A man being questioned after the sudden death of another man in Belfast was released without charge today.

Police were treating the death of the 40-year-old as suspicious but following a post-mortem today they are not treating it as murder.

A file is currently being prepared for the coroner.

Detectives were investigating reports that the dead man was involved in a row shortly before his death.

He died at his home at Benburb Street, south Belfast at around 9.30pm yesterday.
