ISEQ ends week in positive territory

The ISEQ index of Irish shares ended the week in positive territory, finishing up 4.03 points to 8460.87 by the end of day's trading.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares ended the week in positive territory, finishing up 4.03 points to 8460.87 by the end of day's trading.

The financial heavyweights enjoyed mixed fortunes. Bank of Ireland rose 8c to €15.59, Anglo Irish Bank rose 3c to €13.78 and AIB rose 2c to €21.47.

Irish Life and Permanent fell 20c to €19.45.

Elsewhere Aer Lingus rose 2c to €2.92 while Ryanair fell 4c to €2.50.
