David Walliams has been invited to audition for final movie of the ‘Twilight Saga’.
The British funnyman has been asked to audition for a role in ‘Breaking Dawn’, playing a member of the Cullen family of vampires, which includes Robert Pattinson’s lead character Edward Cullen.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They thought him suitable when they saw him play the evil charmer in the drama ‘Capturing Mary’."
David – who is engaged to model Lara Stone – is currently working on a new TV show with long-time comedy partner Matt Lucas.
It is speculated the movie will be split into two parts because the Stephenie Meyer novel it is based on is so long.
Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the franchise, said recently: "I wouldn't mind seeing it split up because the book is huge, and there's so much that's involved, and there are so many different kinds of intertwining stories.
"The problem with changing books into film is that you don't have time to tell this intricate story that you do in 700 pages of a book. I don't think it could hurt."
