Allianz League finalists Mayo have been hit by a 12-week ban for Pat Coyne arising out of the match against Sligo in February.

Allianz League finalists Mayo have been hit by a 12-week ban for Pat Coyne arising out of the match against Sligo in February.

The ban will be over just in time for Mayo's Championship campaign.

Laois player, Michael Lawlor, was banned for 24 weeks also following an incident in a match against Sligo.
