Lacklustre morning for ISEQ

It was a bad morning on the ISEQ today, with the exchange currently trading at 6685.44, down 23.54 points on opening.

Ryanair rose 8c to €6.80 following their announcement yesterday of being on course to make profits of €295m this year.

C & C the soft drinks manufaturer and distributer had a good moring, rising 14c to €4.85.

Food companies IAWS fell 19c to €11.45, while Greencore fell 15c to €3.55. Kerry Group fell 5c to €18.95.

It was a tepid morning for the financials. Irish Life and Permanent fell 10c to €15.05, BoI fell 7c to €12.98 and AIB fell 1c to €17.57. Anglo Irish Bank recorded no change.
