A post mortem examination is due to take place today on the body of a woman in her early 30s - who was found at an apartment in Co. Meath yesterday evening.

A post mortem examination is due to take place today on the body of a woman in her early 30s - who was found at an apartment in Co. Meath yesterday evening.

A man in his mid 30s has been arrested and is currently in hospital.

The was discovered in Bective House Apartments, Beaufort Place, in Navan at around 7pm yesterday evening.

The scene was sealed off last night as Gardaí conducted a full technical examination of the scene.

A man in his mid 30s was arrested - he is currently receiving medical attention in hospital.

Gardaí have launched an investigation into this suspicious death - and are appealing for anyone with anyone with information to contact Navan Garda Station.
