Enright accuses Minister of ignoring education

Fine Gael's Olwyn Enright is accusing the Minister for Education, Noel Dempsey, of turning his back on adult education.

Fine Gael's Olwyn Enright is accusing the Minister for Education, Noel Dempsey, of turning his back on adult education.

Deputy Enright made comments in light of the row between Minister Dempsey and his Junior Education Minister, Síle DeValera over PLC places.

Deputy Enright said she believes the decisions that Minister Dempsey has made so far have had seriously negative effects on the Further Education System.

She said he talks about the problem, but has as yet done nothing to solve it.
