Gardai investigate Galway stabbing

Gardai are investigating the death of a man in Galway.

Gardai are investigating the death of a man in Galway.

It is believed that the 28-year-old was fatally injured in a stabbing incident.

His body was found in a house in Rahoon on the west side of the city early this morning.

Investigators think that the man visited the corporation house overnight and a row ensued.

The scene has now been preserved for technical examination.

The State Pathologist, Dr. John Harbison is on his way to the scene.
