Up to 82 jobs are at risk at a manufacturing plant in Co Wexford.

Up to 82 jobs are at risk at a manufacturing plant in Co Wexford.

Carl Zeiss Vision has said it is undertaking an assessment and re-organisation of its global business operations.

As a result it is proposing to cease manufacturing and supply chain activities at its Wexford facility, with the potential loss of 82 positions.

A further 18 positions will be kept on in sales and tech support.
