Hundreds of people have attended the funeral of the Derry man killed in last week's plane crash in Thailand.

Hundreds of people have attended the funeral of the Derry man killed in last week's plane crash in Thailand.

Twenty-two-year-old Aaron Toland was buried following requiem mass at St Columba's Church in Derry today.

His friend, Chris Cooley, who was injured in the crash, has been moved out of intensive care in a Thai hospital.

The two friends were on a backpacking trip when their plane crashed on the holiday island of Phuket a week ago.
