Ballymena are beginning to come good under South African coach Jacques Benade – they ran in four tries today for a 29-10 win over Terenure College.

At Eaton Park, the Braidmen chalked up their third win in four league games as lock Ian Caldwell, wingers Peter Budina and James Topping and number eight Chris Henry all touched down.

A dogged first half display from the hosts’ pack set up the win – Caldwell, Budina and Topping scored as Ballymena led 24-0 at the break.

Robbie McCarthy and James Blaney got ‘Nure back in touch but Henry’s maul-over score ended their fight.
