Plans for industrial action by various sectors of the medical profession will be announced in the coming days.

Plans for industrial action by various sectors of the medical profession will be announced in the coming days.

Members of the Irish Medical Organisation are planning action over comments by Health Minister Michéal Martin criticising public doctors on strike.

IMO-spokesperson Fintan Hourihan says any industrial action agreed upon will not affect emergency care.
