United States President George W Bush has said that there have been no survivors from the Columbia shuttle disaster that occurred this afternoon.

United States President George W Bush has said that there have been no survivors from the Columbia shuttle disaster that occurred this afternoon.

President Bush says that the day has brought terrible news for America.

Mr Bush insisted that all Americans today would be grieving with the families of those who had lost loved ones on the shuttle.

However Mr Bush, while warning of the danger of space missions, did say that America's journey into space would continue.
