The former chief executive of Anglo Irish bank David Drumm is to appear before a court in Boston later today.

Former Anglo boss David Drumm to appear at extradition hearing today

The former chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank David Drumm is to appear before a court in Boston later today.

Mr Drumm was arrested at his home in Massachusetts last week.

Irish authorities are seeking his extradition to face charges relating to his time at Anglo Irish Bank.

Mr Drumm left the country in 2009 and filed for bankruptcy in the US in 2010.

He has since refused to appear in person at the Banking Inquiry.
