Luas drivers and management to attend Labour Court

Luas drivers and management will attend talks at the Labour Court tomorrow in an effort to resolve their long running pay dispute.

The strikes scheduled for tomorrow and Friday have been cancelled to allow the talks to take place.

However, further strikes are scheduled for June 8, 9 and 10.

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown, Josepha Madigan thinks the dispute has been going on for too long.

"One in ten people are affected on a daily basis and it's not just the Luas commuters themselves, it's the wider belt."
