€2.3m business park to be built in Larne

A development company in Co Antrim has announced plans to build a business park in Larne that could create up to 150 jobs in the next five years.

A development company in Co Antrim has announced plans to build a business park in Larne that could create up to 150 jobs in the next five years.

The Larne Enterprise Development Company is to invest STG£505,000 (€719,000) in the proposed STG£1.65m (€2.3m) Willowbank Business Park on the outskirts of the town.

The remainder of the funding will be provided by the International Fund for Ireland, Invest Northern Ireland, the EU's Building Sustainable Prosperity Programme and Larne Borough Council.
