Up to 80% of the electorate say they would support a change in the law to permit abortion in cases where the life of the woman is at risk, according to a survey in today's Sunday Times.
A new Behaviour and Attitudes Survey in the paper also shows that only 24% of people are happy with the coalition, with support for Fine Gael down two points to 31%.
Sinn Féin and Independents go up a point each to 18% and 19% respectively, while, there is no change for Labour on 14%, Fianna Fáil on 16% and the Greens on 2%.
Political Editor with the Irish Times Stephen O'Brien, said all party leaders bar Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore will see their satisfaction ratings with voters drop.
