St Mary's defeated their nearest neighbours Terenure in a match with only local pride at stake at Templeville Road.

Malcolm O'Kelly got the opening score for St Mary's after 21 minutes and Mark McHugh kicked three penalties for the home side.

Terenure captain Shane Cullen got a superb solo try for the visitors in the second half, but a Karl Jennings try for St Mary's made the game safe with eight minutes left.
