Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a commercial premises in the Shankill Road area.

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a commercial premises in the Shankill Road area.

Just before 11pm last night a man armed with a hammer entered a shop and demanded money and cigarettes from a staff member.

He is described as being around 30 years of age, 6 feet tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a navy coloured Puffa jacket and dark coloured Adidas tracksuit bottoms.

No one was injured in the incident.
