Scotland prop Bruce Douglas has signed a new two-year deal with The Borders.
The 24-year-old has become an international regular after impressing with the professional team.
Now Douglas is looking forward to the prospect of a new coach at the club after Tony Gilbert left at the end of the season.
He said: “I am very happy to be re-signing for The Borders for the next two years.
“I am really enjoying my time at Netherdale and know that, as we grow, we will become a very competitive club.
“I now look forward to preparing for the 2004/05 season with a new managerial direction.
“The Borders is really at the heart of this community, and I am proud to continue to be part of that.”
