A grenade exploded in a small plaza in Colombia’s second-largest city, killing at least four people and injuring 15, police said.

A grenade exploded in a small plaza in Colombia’s second-largest city, killing at least four people and injuring 15, police said.

The attack was in the San Ignacio plaza near the University of Antioquia in Medellin, 155 miles northwest of Bogota.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the attack.

Colombia is involved in a four-decade-old rebel conflict that pits the government against leftist guerrillas and right-wing paramilitary troops, while drug wars continue in the country.
