Celtic manager Gordon Strachan is looking for a minimum of three major signings in the close season to boost his squad.
The Parkhead side are Bank of Scotland Premier League champions for the second season in succession but their recent loss of form continued on Saturday when they lost the final Old Firm game of the campaign 2-0 at Ibrox.
The Hoops’ boss was reportedly watching West Brom’s highly-rated midfielder Jason Koumas in the Baggies’ 7-0 win over Barnsley on Sunday.
And in an interview to be broadcast on Radio Clyde tonight, Strachan said: “I want three great signings but if we can make it four then let’s try to get four. If I can only get two then I’ll settle for that rather than anyone who is mediocre.
“I want to find the type of players who are capable of changing a game with three or four pieces of brilliance.
“If anyone says that that means they are floating in and out of a game I’ll settle for that because a player doesn’t need to do 20 great things in a match.”
