Avril Lavigne is the toast of her native Canada today after claiming five nominations for the country's 2005 Juno Awards.
The Complicated singer has been nominated Artist and Songwriter of The Year, while her hit Under My Skin disc is up for Top Album and Top Pop Album. Lavigne is also nominated for a the Fan Choice Award.
Meanwhile, jazz star Diana Krall has landed four nominations for the April 3 prizegiving in Winnipeg, Canada.
The Artist of The Year category will be fought for by Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and KD Lang, while Billy Talent, Great Big Sea, Simple Plan, Sum 41 and the Tragically Hip will fight it out for Top Group.
