Crewe's Steve Jones has been called into Lawrie Sanchez's squad for his first game as manager of Northern Ireland.

Crewe's Steve Jones has been called into Lawrie Sanchez's squad for his first game as manager of Northern Ireland.

Jones will join up with the squad to prepare for the friendly game against Norway and is one of two friendly matches - the other being a trip to Estonia at in March.

Meanwhile, David Vaughan's hopes of playing in Euro 2004 are over after Wales' appeal was thrown out by UEFA.

Wales boss Mark Hughes had appealed over Yegor Titov failing a drugs test but his calls were rejected.
