Post mortem due on Waterford body

A post mortem is to be carried out today on the body of a woman taken from the sea off Co Waterford yesterday.

A post mortem is to be carried out today on the body of a woman taken from the sea off Co Waterford yesterday.

The woman's body was spotted by people on a yacht sailing in Tramore Bay.

The remains were recovered from the water by Dunmore East lifeboat and taken to Ardkeen Hospital in Waterford.

It is not yet known whether the woman has been identified. The post mortem is being carried out locally.
