Stan Moore’s Traffic Guard has acclimatised to life in Turkey ahead of his tilt at the valuable Topkapi Trophy in Istanbul this Sunday.

The three-year-old is one of four British raiders that also include Dubai’s Touch, who only just beat him in a Listed race at Goodwood last month.

Godolphin representative Caradak and Andrew Balding’s Banknote are also involved.

Moore’s wife, Sara, said: “He’s out there already and I’m told he’s being very well looked after.

“We’ve never had a runner in Turkey before, but there’s a really big pot on offer.

“John Egan will be riding, and he’s off out there on Saturday night.

“We’re quite hopeful.”
