GAA: Reilly goal seals win for Meath

A 65th-minute goal from substitute Neville Reilly won this Leinster SHC match for Meath at Dr Cullen Park.

Carlow 0-09, Meath 1-09 (full-time)

A 65th-minute goal from substitute Neville Reilly won this Leinster SHC match for Meath at Dr Cullen Park.

Meath trailed 0-09 to 0-03 at half-time having played against a strong wind, but superb play from full-back Paul Donnelly and midfielder Nicky Horan led to the winning goal for Reilly.

Carlow failed to raise a single flag playing against the wind in the second-half and that proved the difference between the sides in the end.
