Hong Kong attempts world dog teeth-brushing record

More than 300 dogs have had their teeth brushed at the same time in a new Guinness World Record attempt.

The canines had their nashers scrubbed by their owners for three minutes on Hong Kong Island in order to promote dental hygiene among pooch owners and to raise money for the local dog home.

According to Hilda Wong - who works for real estate company The Link, which organised the record attempt - it will not be known for another three or four months whether the 312 four-legged friends and their owners have set a new record.
