Staff at a nursing home in Offaly are continuing to stage a sit in over the owner's failure to pay their wages.

Staff at a nursing home in Offaly are continuing to stage a sit in over the owner's failure to pay their wages.

The Health Service Executive found alternative accommodation for 36 residents of Tullybeg Nursing Home this week, after the owners told them they were ceasing involvement with the home.

The directors have said the staff will get the money they are owed on Monday.

Mol Wynne, one of the workers at the sit in, claimed today that they had as yet received no guarantee that they would get what they are entitled to.
