SF launches campaign against education cuts

Sinn Féin has launched a campaign against the education cutbacks being introduced by the Government as part of its efforts to regain control of the public finances.

Class sizes are set to increase and education resources, including teacher numbers, are being cut as part of a range of money-saving measures.

Sinn Féin, however, says the education sector should be completely exempt from cuts, despite the current economic difficulties.
