A website is offering sympathy to people who have not had any Valentine's messages.

The soyouvebeendumped.com site offers help for what it calls the "romantically challenged".

Lonely hearts can even use the site to plot their revenge on the partner who dumped them.

The site was created by author and radio presenter Thea Newcomb who left California to marry her Scotland-based penpal.

After the relationship collapsed, she turned to the web for help.
