The Carlow county board will meet tomorrow night to discuss managerial appointments for next season.

The Leinster side are on the lookout for a football manager, following Luke Dempsey's decision not to continue in charge last month.

Former Laois football manager Michael Dempsey is being touted as the successor to replace his namesake, after showing his versatility by steering the Kilkenny U-21s to All-Ireland hurling success last month.

He has also coached Carlow club side O'Hanrahan's.
