Shelbourne and Derry City’s FAI Cup third round stalemate has led to the postponement of their eircom League fixtures next week.

Shelbourne and Derry City’s FAI Cup third round stalemate has led to the postponement of their eircom League fixtures next week.

Following the 1-1 draw at Tolka Park last night, the replay has been fixed for Saturday, August 28 at The Brandywell.

That means the eircom League premier division game between Derry City and Cork City, set for Thursday, August 26, and the Shelbourne v Longford Town fixture, originally scheduled for Friday, August 27, have been postponed.

League officials said details of the re-arranged fixtures would be announced in the near future.
