Lifeboat rescues two fishermen off Cork coast

Members of the Ballycotton lifeboat have come to the aid of a stricken Irish registered fishing vessel off the County Cork coast.

Members of the Ballycotton lifeboat have come to the aid of a stricken Irish registered fishing vessel off the County Cork coast.

The 40-foot vessel was three miles off Ballycotton lighthouse when it was discovered that water had entered the engine room.

The two fishermen onboard were unharmed in the incident and the vessel is now being towed back to shore.
