Pakistan is to release 31 Indians arrested earlier this year for illegally entering the country.

The decision was taken during Pakistani president Gen Pervez Musharaf’s visit to India in July, but was not carried out for unspecified security reasons, a Pakistani Government statement said.

The statement said the 31 Indians would be handed over to Indian authorities tomorrow at the Wagha border station 15 miles east of Lahore.
