A new report has revealed the scale of the difficulties incurred by the two hundred and 70 thousand Irish people who live at risk of poverty.

A new report has revealed the scale of the difficulties incurred by the two hundred and 70 thousand Irish people who live at risk of poverty.

The report by the Vincentian Partnership for Social Justice states that the current social welfare rate is a major barrier to erasing the possibility of poverty.

The report shows that many families cannot afford winter clothing and have unhealthy diets because of a lack of income.
